JIKAN accompanied by Surface Nano-Engineering (SNE) Research Center, attended The First International Exhibition on Chemical and Laboratory Industry (CLI Expo 2018).
We are proud to announce Jikan Surface Nano-Engineering Company has been accepted as a Knowledge-Based company by Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology.
Jikan Surface Nano-Engineering Company was one of the Iranian companies invited to participate the business meeting with the Korean delegation on October 16th at Parsian Azadi hotel, Tehran, Iran.
Jikan Surface Nano-Engineering Company participated in the 5th Iran Lab Expo. A plethora of cooperating negotiations were done and a number of contracts were signed between Jikan and some of the most prestigious universities and companies of Iran in this 3-day exhibition.
One of the major parts of measuring the contact angle of a droplet is image processing. In this project, image processing is defined as a process of recognizing the droplet’s borders, contact line, and the three phase point to determine its contact angle and droplet’s dimensions.
Recently, there has been a great interest in ways of reducing aerodynamic and hydrodynamic drag on foils. The optimum condition happens when the ratio of lift to drag is at its highest. Jikan is going to optimize hydrofoil performance using surface nano-engineering and surface patterning instead of optimizing the geometry.
In recent years, many studies have been done to fabricate superhydrophobic surfaces. These surfaces have slip condition which causes self-cleaning and anti-corrosion property and drag reduction.
One of the solutions to prevent corrosion or mitigate the effects of this phenomenon is to use superhydrophobic surfaces. Superhydrophobic surfaces are surfaces with contact angles larger than 150° and low contact angle hysteresis, which are highly regarded recently, due
