Our suite of software tools, including the Jikan Assistant and Jikan FlowControl, is designed to enhance and streamline the research process. The Jikan Assistant is proprietary software that controls hardware, captures images and videos, and measures properties such as contact angles and tensions during experiments. It aids researchers in obtaining reliable and accurate data by regulating inputs and parameters. Complementing this, the Jikan FlowControl software allows for the connection of up to eight pumps to a computer, enabling independent and collective regulation. This software also monitors all pump parameters automatically, resulting in efficient data collection and automation. Together, these tools significantly accelerate the research process and expedite access to results.
